Edna Mae Dunlap was born September 26, 1935 to the late Shug Mark Crawford and Janie Bell Crawford. She was married to the late Richard Dunlap Sr. She was preceded in death by: a son Gary Lee Dunlap, three sisters Margaret Crawford, Louise Thomas, and Corline Young and two brothers Lonnie Crawford and Bobby Lee Crawford
Mrs. Dunlap attended Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. She retired from NC Baptist Hospital where she had 18 plus total years. She was a devoted worker and enjoyed talking on the telephone, shopping, going to get her hair done and going out to eat. Mrs. Dunlap was previously a member of St Paul Apostolic Church.
Mrs. Dunlap transitioned on March 7, 2017 at the age of 81, following a brief illness. She leaves to cherish her memories Nebraska Anthony, Pearlie Anthony, Antonio Dunlap, Richard (Arkela) Dunlap Jr., Ronald Dunlap, and Mark Dunlap, all of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters Betty (Ronald) Stinson, Brenda (Earnest) Carson both of Winston-Salem, NC, Janie (David) Jackson of Kissimmee, FL, and brother Sean Crawford of Chicago, IL; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Edna was a source of strength, support, and inspiration to her family and friends. We love her, but God loves her more and she will be greatly missed.
